Why Fine art and film?
The term "fine art photography" is a common buzz-word in wedding photography, and while it most technically is defined as photos where the photographer creates art using the photo as a creative expression, it more commonly refers to photography that reflects medium format film photos, with bright photos, clean images, and timeless colors.
Cristin uses primarily digital cameras to capture your day, but also incorporates medium format film and 35 mm film into her work. By incorporating the film, it both creates a more tangible and artistic image, and it offers clean, true colors that are able to be used as a guide for accurate and timeless editing. Film serves as a strong medium for more creative, artistic images.
